Rock has a long lineage of amazing drummers. Ringo Starr, John Bonham, Peter Criss, and Mick Fleetwood to name just a very few. Rock and roll often demands a simplistic approach to create what we might call the “back bone of the music”. Because of this it’s a great genre for inexperienced drummers to begin applying their skillset with a band or even trying your hand at a drum cover and playing to tracks.

Both of these exercises are aimed at the beginner drummer and focus on rock beats. Remember to pay close attention to form, technique and as always stay relaxed.
