2021 – Present / Drumgeek.com
- Founder/content creator of the Drum Geek website and cohost of a monthly live streamed vodcast. Projects include booking of guests, show production and development, post video and audio production, social media management, website development and graphic design.
2010 – Present / Echo Drop (drummer, songwriter, producer)
- As a working musician I created a hybrid electronic drum kit that allowed me play drums, bass and sing at the same time. I booked and performed gigs with my duo in casinos, corporate events, weddings and on Celebrity X cruise lines. In 2017 we were invited to perform as the house band for a 6 month residency at the Intercontinental Hotel in Changsha, China before becoming an all original act. We are currently working on our second album.
2009 – 2020 / Esquire Multimedia
- Owner and operator of a small multimedia business. Services offered to my clients were graphic and website design, video and audio production, videography, SEO and social media management.
2011 – 2019 / Victoria Drum Fest
- Cohost, co-organizer and graphic designer for the annual Victoria Drum festival. Regular duties include design for all festival collateral (digital and print), organizing volunteers, staging and setting up drum kits for performance day as well as any other set up or tear down associated with the event.
2010 – 2013 / Long & McQuade
- Employed as a salesman at Canadian MI retail store. Duties included sales, customer service, rentals, merchandising, hosting of drum clinics and relief for admin desk in the lessons department.
2005 – 2017 / The Black Page Drum Magazine
- Founder/content creator for a print & online drum magazine called The Black Page which reached a readership of 25,000 drummers worldwide. Projects included video and audio production of online drum lessons, website development, SEO, graphic design, magazine layout, editing and writing.
2005 – 2008 / Ted Good Music
- Employed as a salesman and drum instructor at a family owned MI retail store. Regular duties included sales, instrument repairs, teaching, organizing all student and teacher schedules, monthly newsletter content creation and organizing/hosting/promoting live clinics.
